Esses acidentes incluem colisões com automóveis e motos, incidentes com pedestres e animais, bem como objetos na ferrovia. Um incidente grave ocorreu recentemente, quando um veículo foi arrastado e esmagado por um trem em Satuba, resultando na morte do motorista.
Nesta semana, um pedestre teve a mão amputada por um Veículo Leve sobre Trilhos (VLT) ao tentar atravessar os trilhos em Maceió.
