Após uma década aguardando a conclusão das obras no viaduto da cidade, moradores e motoristas que trafegam pela BR-101 no trecho que passa pelo município de Porto Real do Colégio, em Alagoas, viram de perto que a espera está perto do fim. Neste sábado (30/09), o ministro dos Transportes, Renan Filho, esteve na cidade para assinar a ordem de serviço que garante o início imediato dos trabalhos.
“Estou aqui cumprindo aquilo que foi prometido lá atrás pelo presidente Lula, e sigo repetindo: enquanto tivermos orçamento, nenhuma obra ficará parada nesse país. A conclusão desse viaduto vai garantir mais segurança, melhorar a trafegabilidade e aumentar o potencial desenvolvimento turístico de Alagoas. Esse é o novo Brasil que estamos construindo, com o apoio dos trabalhadores”, destacou o ministro.
Localizado próximo à divisa entre Alagoas e Sergipe, o viaduto faz parte da zona turística banhada pelo rio São Francisco, sendo a principal porta de entrada e saída para os dois estados. Além de permitir o acesso da cidade à BR-101, a obra, que fica entre os quilômetros 244,14 e 245,36 da rodovia, prevê a implantação de 1,5 quilômetro de pista duplicada e a construção de vias marginais.
As intervenções na rodovia serão realizadas pelo Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (DNIT). As obras terão um investimento do Governo Federal de aproximadamente R$ 23,7 milhões e estão previstas para serem concluídas em até oito meses.
Novo PAC
A conclusão do viaduto e a duplicação da BR-101 em Porto Real do Colégio são ações que estão inseridas no Novo PAC do Governo Federal. No total, Alagoas conta com 10 projetos de transportes previstos no programa, sendo nove na área de rodovias e um de ferrovias. Serão R$ 1,8 bilhão investidos nas intervenções elencadas como prioridade para o estado.
O orçamento para manutenção, conservação e construção de rodovias do estado também foi incrementado: serão R$ 436 milhões, pouco mais de três vezes o valor pago em 2022, pela gestão anterior.
