O Departamento Municipal de Transportes e Trânsito (DMTT) de Maceió iniciou, neste sábado (9/9), a implantação de novos abrigos de ônibus na região da Rota do Mar. Dois equipamentos foram instalados nesta primeira etapa, nas imediações dos conjuntos Aprígio Vilela e Parque dos Caetés.
O diretor-presidente do DMTT, André Costa, destacou o trabalho que está sendo executado na localidade. “A implantação desses abrigos representa muito para a gestão do prefeito JHC, que prioriza melhorar a qualidade do transporte público na cidade, e ainda, dar mais conforto e condições aos usuários”, pontuou.
O abrigo instalado no residencial Aprígio Vilela atende as pessoas que seguem para o itinerário Jacarecica/Benedito Bentes. Já o equipamento que fica no conjunto Parque dos Caetés alcança os usuários que utilizam os ônibus, sentido Benedito Bentes/Jacarecica.
O diretor do Sistema Municipal de Transportes Urbanos do DMTT, Glauco Oliveira, enfatizou que novos abrigos de ônibus serão instalados nas próximas semanas, obedecendo ao cronograma do departamento. “Foram os dois primeiros, mas temos já um cronograma para outras implantações. É uma preocupação nossa melhorar as condições para os usuários de ônibus”, disse.
A implantação de abrigos obedece à programação do DMTT e atende pedidos de moradores da região.
“Partindo do princípio de que o transporte público é essencial para permitir o acesso às necessidades da população como, por exemplo, estudo, saúde e trabalho, precisamos que ele seja eficiente e funcione de forma que atenda a todos. Para ter acesso, precisamos primeiramente esperar em um ponto de parada onde estejamos protegidos do sol e da chuva. Essa instalação será de grande ajuda e trará mais conforto a quem estiver à espera do ônibus”, ressaltou Rayanne Alves, moradora do Aprígio Vilela.
“Uma característica da gestão municipal e da nossa, aqui no DMTT, é escutar a população, conversar com as pessoas e entender as suas necessidades. Assim seguiremos, para atender aos maceioenses”, completou André Costa.
